A Brief History of Streamlyne:
20 Year Celebration
As we celebrate our 20th anniversary this year, let’s take a look back at our journey and trace back to where it all started.
Over this, our 20th year, Streamlyne’s Roadmap has us moving along that same trajectory of innovation and evolution, continuing to provide the eRA solutions our clients have always counted on, improving efficiency, and providing exciting new features and services, for our new clients and for those who have been with us since the beginning.
We changed the name of our software from Vivantec to Streamlyne, and in 2017 we adopted it as the name of the company.
We introduced the first of our line of enterprise SaaS products in the cloud, starting with our research administration solution. Since then, we’ve invested over $10.7 million in the innovations that make Streamlyne completely unique in the industry.
In addition to implementing our own systems, we became a certified Workday integration partner. A growing number of institutions were adopting that solution and needed it to work with their other enterprise software, and we met that need.
We entered the higher education and research sector with our first eRA implementation. In expanding more into that arena, assisting in the planning, implementation, hosting, training, and support services at more institutions, we oriented ourselves in the direction that brought us where we are today.
While we started as a web development company, we quickly transitioned into the development of larger enterprise systems for clients in a variety of industries. From there we expanded into the technology consulting business, gaining expertise in business process reengineering, custom software development, integrations, and quality assurance.
