Michigan Technological University

I came to Michigan Technological University with no research experience. As an accounting graduate, this was a whole new world for me. It has been an interesting learning curve but I have learned a lot in my short time of being at MTU. I primarily work with subrecipients on proposals, collecting and compliance-checking documents and information while working with new people almost every day. Some proposals have more challenges than others but it is always interesting to learn about the kind of research that will be conducted. As of now, I am just a processor but maybe this could lead to a career for myself as I am still young.
