Became an RA: 2020 - Recent

I have been in the research field since 2015, and a lifelong learner with 5 completed degrees, including a PhD. I have always been intrigued with how things work and why things happen the way they do, and what we can do to fix it. After I completed my postdoc, I realized that I am not just interested in doing research, but managing every aspect of it. I applied for over 200 positions, and after multiple interviews for multiple positions, I decided to go for research administration and running of clinical trials. I now work in the Department of Anesthesiology, which is involved in every kind of surgery that takes place. I have the opportunity to do research in any medical field, in any discipline, because it’s linked to anesthesiology! How much better can it be?! I now administrate and manage clinical trials for the department, and am as happy as a pig in a muddy puddle!
