Southern Utah University

I graduated with a BS in Biology then immediately started working on a grant with the Forest Service through the university. Through this experience I was able to obtain my masters degree and took one grant writing class that was very interesting. At the same time, I was applying for grants for my masters research thesis. I ultimately didn’t receive a grant at this time, but once my thesis project was complete, we wanted to continue the project and received a research grant from the state. I used this experience and my degree to become the Grant Coordinator for the university’s Aviation department.
