Lead Sponsored Funding Administrator

Became an RA: The 2010's

I was looking for a more stable career option that allowed for 360degree movement and a family-friendly work environment to allow me to raise our three young kids. Research Administration allowed me the opportunity to fulfill a core personal value of public service by assisting our communities in pursuing new research missions and goals for every day challenges such as climate change, cancer treatments, public defense achievements, and cyber security. It is rewarding to see how my work translates into real-world value!

Became an RA: The 2010's

I started in research administration as a job because I really wanted to work at my cities State university. I came from working on grants in the non-profit sector and thought it would be similar and my skills would be transferable. Truth is it was nothing like what I was used to working on grants.
