I needed a change and found a job opening at UTD. I did some grant writing in the past and was hopeful I’d land this job. It was all about timing, I applied for this job and one other at UTD and after my interview my boss called back quickly. I accepted the job and started two weeks later. I didn’t really understand what I was getting into when I joined the research administration world! It’s been a great time and I learn something new each day. I also know I’m helping people do great work and that means a lot to me. Best thing I ever did was to apply for the job.
