I worked several years in development roles at area nonprofits in the arts and education. Most of my role at each nonprofit was grant writing and grant management, in addition to other fundraising efforts. When a role at my university opened up, it made so much sense–a return to higher education (as I had previously taught at several) and working in grants in a new way. I’ve been in my role for almost five years and very much enjoy working with faculty.
