I started my career in Research Administration (Pre-Award specifically) on Research Administrators Day in 2017 – it’s great to celebrate my work anniversary and my profession on the same day! Prior to coming to Notre Dame, I had served in development and fundraising roles for non-profit organizations in the health care and social services industries. My experience with departmental budgets, financial reporting and grant management, managing donor data, and interacting with donors, volunteers, and staff have translated well into Research Administration.

I received my Master of Social Work Degree, but I landed a job doing grant management for the State of Florida. In 2018 I moved to South Bend and got a job as a Research Contracts Specialist. So I went from Social Work to Research Administration in 3 years!
