2024-2026 Deferred Annuity Contract Owner Experience Study Data Request

The Society of Actuaries Research Institute’s Individual Annuity Experience Committee and LIMRA are soliciting U.S. experience data for fixed rate, fixed indexed, and traditional variable deferred annuities, with and without guaranteed living benefits, for 2024 through September 30, 2026. The study will examine living-benefit utilization, withdrawals, surrenders, annuitization, premium deposits, and, if sufficient data are available, manual step-ups; aggregated findings and analytical tools may be offered through a Standard Data Package. Eligible contributors are organizations with relevant business in the 50 states, Washington, D.C., or U.S. territories that can submit data in the specified format, with submissions due to LIMRA by October 31, 2026.
