About this program
The California Department of Housing and Community Development offers approximately $50 million through the 2025 Tribal Multifamily Finance Super NOFA to address the affordable housing and infrastructure needs of California Tribes. Forgivable loans support the construction, rehabilitation, and conversion of permanent or transitional rental housing, while grants fund related infrastructure and community improvements. Eligible applicants are Tribal Entities, including Tribal governments, which may apply jointly with other Tribes, Urban Indian Organizations, local jurisdictions, or nonprofit and for-profit entities.
