2026-2028 Dance Advancement Fund (Fifth Iteration)

About this program

Dance/NYC, with support from the Howard Gilman Foundation and Ford Foundation, will award $650,000 through the 2026–2028 Dance Advancement Fund to provide general operating support and professional development for up to 25 New York City metropolitan area dance makers. Selected organizations and groups will receive $6,000–$40,000 annually for the period September 1, 2026–August 31, 2028, advancing sustainability and equity in the dance field. Eligible applicants are dance-making organizations or groups based in the New York City metropolitan area with annual operating budgets between $25,000 and $250,000.
