About this program
The Association of Print Scholars, with support from C.G. Boerner and Harris Schrank, offers the 2026 APS Publication Grant of up to $2,000 for innovative scholarly research on printmaking across all periods and geographic regions. Funds may support near-completion publications, including articles, online essays, exhibition catalogues, and books, through research travel, printmaking study, photography and image permissions, or contributor honoraria. Applicants must be APS members and submit a single PDF in English by September 30, 2026, including a 500–1,000-word proposal, budget, publishing plan, and CVs; current APS officers are ineligible. Awardees must use the funds within one year and submit a brief final report.
