2026 JRGOS/Zimmer Biomet Research Grant for Medical Students

About this program

The J. Robert Gladden Orthopaedic Society (JRGOS), with support from Zimmer Biomet, offers medical student research grants of up to $5,000 for studies aligned with the Society’s mission and designed to produce measurable outcomes. Applicants must be enrolled at an accredited medical school, maintain JRGOS membership throughout the project, have a supervising attending orthopaedic surgeon, and hold mandatory MCOR certification. Applications must include a project abstract, specific aims, research plan, budget, timeline, investigator CVs, and a faculty mentor recommendation letter; submissions are due August 1–October 19, 2026.
