2026 JRGOS/Zimmer Biomet Research Grant for Residents and Fellows

About this program

The J. Robert Gladden Orthopaedic Society (JRGOS), with support from Zimmer Biomet, offers $5,000 grants to residents and fellows for orthopaedic research projects aligned with the Society’s mission and designed to produce measurable outcomes. Applications are accepted from August 1 through October 19, 2026, and may not include indirect costs. Primary applicants must be enrolled in an accredited orthopaedic surgery residency or fellowship, have maintained JRGOS membership in good standing for at least one year, and remain members throughout the research period. Applicants must submit a research plan, budget, timeline, investigator CVs, and a faculty mentor recommendation letter, provide updates every six months, and acknowledge JRGOS support in resulting presentations.
