About this program
The Lincoln Institute of Land Policy invites journalists from across Latin America to compete for the 2026 Lincoln Prize for Journalism on Urban Policies, Sustainable Development, and Climate Change. The award recognizes investigative and public-interest reporting on land policies, sustainable urban development, climate change, and related urban issues, in memory of Brazilian journalist Tim Lopes. Eligible applicants are journalists working in Latin America, with submissions accepted in Spanish through August 30, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.
