2026 SNEP Restoration Capital Mini-Grants

About this program

Restore America’s Estuaries, with financial support from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, offers SNEP Watershed Implementation Grants to address water pollution, habitat degradation, and other priority environmental challenges while advancing clean water, ecosystem restoration, and sustainable coastal communities. The program supports integrated, partnership-based projects in Southeast New England, including Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts. Eligible projects must fall within the designated SNEP region, extending from Westerly, Rhode Island, to Pleasant Bay on Cape Cod and encompassing surrounding watersheds and islands. The 2026 SNEP Restoration Capital Mini-Grants component provides $1,000–$10,000 for supplies, equipment, and other one-time restoration expenses, with applications due by 4:00 p.m. on September 15.
