2026–2027 FWC Research Grants

About this program

The Foundation for Women’s Cancer (FWC), in collaboration with the Society of Gynecologic Oncology, offers 2026–2027 research grants supporting translational gynecologic cancer research; budgets may include research costs, limited indirect and publication expenses, travel, and approved subcontracts. SGO members who are early-career professionals or junior investigators—generally assistant professors or below within seven years of their first faculty appointment—are encouraged to apply, with priority for investigators without prior DOD, ACS, or NCI funding in the research area. Non-SGO members may apply with a documented SGO-member co-investigator or sponsor; full professors are ineligible, research must be conducted at a U.S. institution, and applicants may submit only one application. Letters of support, a biosketch, budget, and public and technical abstracts are required through a two-stage process, with letters of intent due October 1, 2026, and full proposals due December 9, 2026.
