2027 ASA-ESA Exchange Program

About this program

The American Surgical Association (ASA) and European Surgical Association (ESA) offer an exchange program enabling two ASA Fellows to attend the ESA Annual Meeting on May 6–8, 2027, in Alicante, Spain, for professional networking and organizational knowledge sharing. The host organization covers meeting registration, association-sponsored social events, and hotel lodging during the meeting; airfare, ground transportation, and side-trip expenses are not covered. Applicants must be ASA Fellows in good standing who can attend the meeting and must submit an online letter of intent and curriculum vitae by September 10, 2026. The ASA Council will select two exchange members and one alternate.
