The Craig H. Neilsen Foundation, in partnership with the American Spinal Injury Association (ASIA), offers the 2027 Allied Health Professional Research Award, providing $30,000 for a one-year clinical research project in spinal cord injury (SCI). The award is intended to help allied health professionals with limited research experience develop careers as researchers under the guidance of an established SCI researcher. Applicants must hold a certified allied health professional degree at the master’s or clinical doctorate level, have no other funding for the proposed project, and identify an eligible ASIA member mentor. Applications must include a research proposal, applicant and mentor biosketches, statements and letters of support, and be submitted as a combined PDF by August 31, 2026.
