2027 NetVUE Summer Seminar: Enhancing Vocational Exploration

The Council of Independent Colleges (CIC), through its Network for Vocation in Undergraduate Education (NetVUE) and with support from Lilly Endowment Inc., offers the 2027 Enhancing Vocational Exploration Summer Seminar for educators advancing research, writing, teaching, or institutional leadership related to vocation and calling. The June 7–11, 2027 seminar in Indianapolis will select up to 12 participants, with most seminar costs covered and travel reimbursement of up to $900. Full-time faculty or staff at NetVUE member institutions may be nominated, with each institution limited to one nominee and preference given to those whose institutions have not previously participated in a NetVUE summer seminar. Nominees must submit a nomination letter, résumé or CV, and statement by October 2, 2026, and selected participants must complete substantial readings, prepare a 10-page paper, and participate actively.
