2027 Psychoanalytic & Psychodynamic Teachers’ Academy

About this program

The American Psychoanalytic Association’s 2027 Psychoanalytic & Psychodynamic Teachers’ Academy supports educators who teach psychoanalytic therapy or theory in medical, mental health, and other clinical training programs. Six participants will receive guidance and support to become more effective and engaged teachers of psychoanalytic ideas. Applicants should be social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists, counselors, or other mental health professionals who are not psychoanalysts but teach psychoanalytic or psychodynamic content; applications are due September 8, 2026.
