2027 Psychoanalytic & Psychodynamic Teachers’ Academy

About this program

The American Psychoanalytic Association’s 2027 Psychoanalytic & Psychodynamic Teachers’ Academy will select six participants for support and professional development in teaching psychoanalytic therapy and theory. The program aims to help educators become more effective and engaged in transmitting psychoanalytic ideas within clinical and academic training programs. Applicants should be social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists, counselors, or other mental health professionals who are not psychoanalysts but teach psychoanalytic or psychodynamic content to students, trainees, or other mental health professionals; applications are due September 8, 2026.
