AACR-Lobular Breast Cancer Alliance Invasive Lobular Carcinoma Research Challenge Grants

About this program

The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) and the Lobular Breast Cancer Alliance offer one-year, $50,000 Research Challenge Grants for innovative, paradigm-shifting studies addressing invasive lobular carcinoma detection, diagnosis, treatment, recurrence prevention, or surveillance. Funds may support direct and indirect project expenses, including salary, equipment, supplies, and other research costs. Applicants must hold a relevant doctoral degree, be independent investigators at an academic, medical, or research institution worldwide, and maintain active AACR membership by the September 10, 2026, deadline. Applicants may not be doctoral candidates, employees of U.S. federal agencies or for-profit industry, or concurrent AACR grant holders at the January 1, 2027, start date.
