About this program
The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) offers two-year Undergraduate Scholar Awards to encourage promising science students to pursue careers in cancer research. Awardees receive complimentary registration and travel support for the 2026 and 2027 AACR Annual Meetings, with funding also usable for related educational projects. Applicants must be AACR Student members and full-time, third-year undergraduate students majoring in science; there are no citizenship or residency restrictions. Awardees must attend both meetings for at least four days and submit annual reports, with applications due August 27, 2026, at 1 p.m. ET.
