About this program
The American Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research (AADOCR) offers the Distinguished Scientist Award to recognize outstanding research of particular significance in oral science; the award carries a $5,000 prize, a plaque, and travel expenses and is presented at the AADOCR Annual Meeting (next presentation: 2027 AADOCR/CADR Annual Meeting & Exhibition, Minneapolis). Eligibility is limited to individuals who are or have been engaged in basic, applied, or clinical research related to dental science, and candidates must be AADOCR members; self-nominations are accepted. Applications open July 14, 2025 and close October 1, 2026.
