AADOCR Hatton Competition

About this program

The American Association for Dental, Oral & Craniofacial Research (AADOCR) selects qualified junior, senior, and postdoctoral investigators via an oral-presentation competition at its Annual Meeting to represent AADOCR in the IADR Hatton Awards and Competition in Melbourne on 22 June 2027. Winners receive monetary awards ($1,000 for first place and $500 for second place in each category) and the six AADOCR winners advance to the international IADR Hatton Competition. Applicants must be AADOCR members, may not have previously won in the same category, and must submit an abstract and deliver the required oral presentation; mentors are strongly encouraged to support original, well-planned projects. Applications open 13 July 2026 and close 26 October 2026.
