AADOCR/CADR Joseph Lister Award for New Investigators

Supported by Kenvue and administered by the American Association for Dental, Oral & Craniofacial Research (AADOCR), the Joseph Lister Award for New Investigators recognizes original research in oral disease prevention or oral health promotion by emerging investigators in the American and Canadian IADR divisions. Awards include $5,000 plus a $3,000 travel stipend for first place, $3,000 plus a $3,000 travel stipend for second place, and $500 for each of six runners-up; the top two winners advance to the international IADR competition. Applicants must be within 10 years of their first academic appointment and be current full AADOCR members or IADR members within the Canadian Division (CADR); applications are due October 26, 2026.
