About this program
The American Association of University Women (AAUW) offers Branch and Affiliate Grants of up to $10,000 to support community-based, hands-on STEM programming for girls in grades K–12; existing Tech Trek camps may request up to $5,000. Projects may address STEM skills, confidence and identity, college and career preparation, or mentorship by women in STEM, with priority given to historically underrepresented communities. Eligible applicants are U.S.-based AAUW branches, state organizations, and affiliated entities that have completed the most recent annual AAUW report; individuals and mixed-gender projects are ineligible. Applications are submitted online, with deadlines of October 29, 2026, for Round 1 and February 25, 2027, for Round 2.
