ABPP/Psi Chi Graduate Research Grant

About this program

Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology, in partnership with the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP), offers one $1,000 Graduate Research Grant to defray the direct costs of an original empirical research project. The grant also provides graduate students experience in applying for and managing research funding. Applicants must be Psi Chi members, enrolled graduate students in psychology or a related mental health field—or within six months of graduation—and have a faculty mentor overseeing the project. Proposals are due October 15; applicants may submit one proposal per round and receive only one Graduate Research Grant annually.
