ACC Distinguished Awards 2027 Call for Nominations

About this program

The American College of Cardiology offers Distinguished Awards to recognize exceptional contributions to cardiovascular medicine, science, education, service, leadership, and team-based care. ACC members must submit nominations for 2027 recipients by September 17, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. ET; awards include multiple discipline-specific categories with distinct eligibility criteria. Self-nominations are not accepted, and nominees generally must be ACC members meeting the applicable FACC, AACC, or MACC requirements. Nominations must include a CV, a nomination letter, and two supporting letters from ACC members, with additional letters required for the Distinguished Mentor, Lifetime Achievement, and Masters of the ACC categories.
