Action Grant

About this program

The Idaho Humanities Council offers Action Grants of up to $750 for projects and planning activities that use history, culture, literature, and other humanities disciplines to engage Idaho’s out-of-school adult public. Eligible activities include exhibits, local history projects, public discussions, and humanities-focused programs that foster dialogue and community connections. Applicants must be Idaho nonprofit organizations or government agencies, and projects may last up to 12 months. Applications are due on the first of each month, with decisions typically issued within two weeks.
