About this program
The National Association of School Nurses (NASN) offers the Advocacy Education Scholarship, providing up to $1,500 and complimentary annual conference registration to support a school nurse’s participation in an advocacy education program. Applicants must have been active NASN members for at least two years, hold current registered nurse licensure, work at least 0.6 FTE as a school nurse for the past two years, and possess a bachelor’s degree or higher. Applications require a statement of advocacy interests, employer and affiliate/NASN letters of support, and a plan to complete an advocacy project interfacing with NASN; applications are due October 15, with programs completed within one year of the award.
