About this program
Purdue University's College of Agriculture offers AgSEED, an internal competitive grant program funded by State of Indiana line-item support to advance plant and animal agriculture and rural community growth with an emphasis on entrepreneurial initiatives. The program funds one-year awards of $50,000 for projects in Applied Research/Extension (including translational, end-user–focused work) and Basic Research. Applicants are Purdue investigators and proposals must directly respond to the RFP and align with the college's strategic initiatives; submissions that do not fit the stated goals will not be funded.
