AIA Society Outreach Grant Program

About this program

The Archaeological Institute of America offers Society Outreach Grants to support innovative local programs that promote archaeology, public education, the AIA’s mission, and Society membership; eligible expenses include materials, travel, honoraria, advertising, and publicity. Any chartered AIA Society may apply, with preference given to new, replicable projects that extend beyond regular lecture programming; requests of up to $500 are currently considered. Applications are due electronically by October 15, 2026, and recipients must submit a final report within two months of completing the project.
