AIAA Plasmadynamics & Lasers Award - Open for Nominations

About this program

The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) annually presents the Plasmadynamics & Lasers Award for outstanding contributions to the understanding of the physical properties and dynamical behavior of matter in the plasma state and lasers as related to aeronautics and astronautics, normally conferred at the AIAA AVIATION Forum. Nominations are accepted online beginning 10 July; the nomination deadline is 1 October and endorsement letters must be received by 1 November. Eligible candidates are individual researchers, engineers, or educators who have demonstrated significant scientific or technical contributions in plasmadynamics or laser applications relevant to aerospace, and nominations must include supporting documentation and endorsement letters submitted by the stated deadlines.
