AIM Research Communities

About this program

The American Institute of Mathematics (AIM) invites proposals for Research Communities (ARCs), collaborative, primarily virtual initiatives supporting ongoing mathematics research and networking. Communities may focus on forming research groups, mentoring graduate students and junior researchers, or developing interdisciplinary networks, particularly for participants lacking local collaborators or travel access. Proposed groups must involve at least 40 participants and be organized around a specific area of mathematical research; proposals are due November 1 through AIM’s research community proposal form. Groups may consult Leslie Hogben before submitting.
