AIPS Conference Travel Grants

About this program

The American Institute of Pakistan Studies (AIPS) offers competitive Conference Travel Grants of up to $500 to support travel for presenting papers or organizing panels on Pakistan Studies at invited conferences or workshops. Funding supports future travel and is reviewed quarterly, with applications due December 15, March 15, June 15, or September 15. Applicants must be AIPS individual members, provide written evidence of proposal acceptance, and submit an application, abstract, CV, and—if students—a faculty advisor’s support letter. Awards are limited to one per person annually, with preference for applicants who have not received an AIPS travel grant in the previous two years; international travel to Pakistan is restricted to eligible postdoctoral U.S. citizens traveling to Islamabad or Lahore.
