About this program
The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), through its Transportation & Development Institute, presents the Airfield Pavement Practitioner Award to recognize practicing engineers who demonstrate leadership or significant achievement in airfield pavement design, construction, evaluation, maintenance, or implementation-ready research. The award consists of a plaque and certificate presented at an ASCE or T&DI function. Eligible nominees must be ASCE or T&DI members of any grade with significant professional accomplishments, technical competence, integrity, service to the profession, and leadership in developing younger professionals. Nominations, including a signed cover letter, CV or biography, and two required recommendation letters, are due electronically by October 15.
