AISC Student Travel Grants

About this program

The American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), with support from the AISC Education Foundation, offers limited travel grants for students to attend structural steel industry events, including NASCC: The Steel Conference and AASHTO/NSBA bridge collaboration meetings. Awards reimburse eligible direct travel costs and lodging, with opportunities for mentoring, networking, and exposure to industry standards and practices. Applicants must be students and selected recipients are expected to participate fully in event meetings and group activities and submit a written post-event summary. Applications for Fall 2026 grants are due August 28, 2026.
