Alan Reinerman Prize for Best Unpublished Manuscript on the History of Italy

The Society for Italian Historical Studies (SIHS), affiliated with the American Historical Association, offers the $400 Alan Reinerman Prize for a dissertation-length unpublished manuscript on the history of Italy, intended to encourage emerging scholarship. Applicants must be current SIHS members, scholars or students regularly residing in the United States or Canada, and have received the Ph.D. since January 1 of the previous year; the submission must represent their first or second study in the field and be of publishable scholarly quality. Submit one PDF manuscript and a brief curriculum vitae by email to each award committee member, with the title and CV also sent to the SIHS Executive Secretary, by September 30.
