Alexander Leaf Distinguished Scientist Award for Lifetime Achievement

The International Society for the Study of Fatty Acids and Lipids (ISSFAL) offers the Alexander Leaf Distinguished Scientist Award for Lifetime Achievement to recognize sustained, significant contributions to lipid and health research, as well as distinguished service to the Society. The award includes economy-class airfare and hotel accommodation for the ISSFAL Congress, plus a commemorative plaque. Nominees must be ISSFAL members in good standing; no formal degree is required. Nominations, accompanied by a brief supporting statement, must be submitted by ISSFAL Nominations and Awards Committee or Board members to the Committee Chair by September 30.
