About this program

The Alzheimer’s Association offers the Alzheimer’s Association Research Grant for All (AARGA) to support early-career investigators developing preliminary or pilot data, testing procedures, and generating hypotheses in any area of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia research. Awards provide up to $200,000 over two to three years, with annual budgets capped at $70,000 and indirect costs limited to 10% of direct costs. Applicants must hold a doctoral degree and a full-time Assistant Professor or equivalent position at a nonprofit academic, medical, or research institution, with no more than seven years in that rank; U.S. and international researchers are eligible. A Letter of Intent is due August 14, 2026, followed by full applications due October 14, 2026, through ProposalCentral.
