About this program
The Academy of American Poets offers the Ambroggio Prize, a $1,000 publication award for a book-length poetry manuscript originally written in Spanish and accompanied by an English translation. The winning manuscript will be published by the University of Arizona Press. Applicants must be American poets whose first language is Spanish and must submit an eligible bilingual manuscript. Submissions for the 2027 prize are accepted June 15–September 15, 2026.
