American Headache Society 2026 Emerging Leaders Program

About this program

American Headache Society’s 2026 Emerging Leaders Program is a cohort-based leadership development initiative (Dec 2, 2026–June 9, 2027) that assigns participants a group project to present to the AHS Board at the June 2027 Annual Scientific Meeting and provides complimentary registration and paid expenses for the 2026 Scottsdale Headache Symposium and the 69th Annual Scientific Meeting. Participants must attend an in-person day-long kickoff (Dec 2, 2026), the Scottsdale Symposium, a virtual mid-year forum, and the Annual Scientific Meeting, and complete the assigned project. Applicants must have been AHS members in good standing for at least one year and have completed a training program or terminal research degree within the past seven years; current residents and fellows are not eligible. Applications open Aug 3, 2026 and are due Sep 13, 2026; required materials are an online application, Letter of Interest, CV, and a letter of support from an AHS member, with final decisions around Oct 12, 2026.
