Anishinaabe Arts Initiative Grant for Individuals

About this program

Region 2 Arts Council's Anishinaabe Arts Initiative Grant for Individuals offers awards up to $2,000 to support exhibition, performance, production, purchase of materials or equipment, non-credit arts education, and projects that advance Anishinaabe artists' careers. Applicants must be enrolled tribal members or descendants living in Becker, Beltrami, Cass, Clearwater, Hubbard, Itasca, Lake of the Woods, Mahnomen, or Roseau counties in Minnesota. Applications (online or paper) are due March 1, 2027, and require work samples, an artist resume or bio, and a budget; applicant assistance and accommodations are available.
