Annual Grants Application 104(b)

About this program

The New York State Water Resources Institute administers annual 104(b) grants to support research, training, information dissemination, and other activities addressing water management, development, and conservation of state, regional, or national importance, and encourages regional cooperation among institutions. Eligible applicants are investigators at institutions of higher learning in New York State; awards are made only after close consultation and collaboration with state water resources officials and interested members of the public. All grants require a minimum non‑federal match of $2 for every $1 of federal funding (2:1); indirect costs may not be charged to the grant but may be counted toward the match. Recipients must submit annual reports summarizing project accomplishments.
