About this program
The American Musicological Society (AMS) offers full registration waivers for its online 2026 Annual Meeting, held November 14–15 and 19–20, to reduce financial barriers for international attendees. AMS membership is not required, and eligible presenters automatically receive waivers, while remaining waivers are awarded by lottery.
Applicants must currently reside continuously for at least 12 months in a country with a per-capita GDP below $41,000 (PPP, international dollars), based on World Bank data, and must comply with applicable U.S. laws and sanctions. Applications are due by 11:59 p.m. ET on September 1, 2026.
