About this program
The American Nuclear Society (ANS) offers travel compensation of up to $1,000 for current student members to attend the 2026 ANS Winter Conference and Expo in Phoenix, Arizona, November 15–18, 2026. Funds reimburse eligible transportation, lodging, ground travel, parking, and non-alcoholic food expenses. Applicants must be current ANS student members, with priority consideration for students from backgrounds historically underrepresented or facing economic, geographic, or social barriers in STEM; students who have received three prior travel grants are ineligible. Applications are due October 1, 2026, and recipients must submit receipts and a grant report within two weeks after the conference.
