Trainee Award

About this program

The American Neurotology Society, with initial support from Dr. Joseph Touma, offers up to two $1,000 Trainee Awards for the best original clinical and basic science papers in neurotology. Awardees must present their papers in person at the ANS Spring Meeting in Seattle, April 9–11, 2027. Eligible applicants are residents in approved otolaryngology–head and neck surgery programs or neurotology fellows in the United States or Canada; medical students are not eligible. The trainee must be the primary author and submit an original manuscript, with the abstract selected for oral presentation, by the October 22, 2026 abstract deadline and the manuscript and cover letter by November 23, 2026.
