Anthony Grano Scholarship Award

About this program

The AAEA Trust’s Anthony Grano Scholarship Award will select two recipients for a one-week, policy-focused visit to Washington, DC, including meetings with USDA, congressional offices, agricultural organizations, and NGOs; each recipient will receive a $1,250 scholarship. Applicants must be graduate students in agricultural economics or economics with an agricultural emphasis at a U.S. university, with strong academic preparation and an interest in agricultural policy and policymaking. Applications require a cover letter, a two-page statement on a current agricultural policy issue, CV, transcripts, and departmental support, and are due October 12, 2026.
